Your Wedding Day Timings

The Crear team want for your guests to have the best time at your wedding. With years of experience, we have some timing suggestions to ensure everyone is happy.

Suggested Timings of your Wedding Day

Please consider that while your wedding day as the bridal couple will pass in a flash, for your guests who have travelled to be with you its a long time to be social without a break. Guests at the best weddings should always leave at the point they are wanting to stay to party just a little bit longer.

If you have children or elderly guests you have the option to bring everything forward with your Wedding Breakfast being served early or mid-afternoon. Small weddings may opt for a shorter celebration, perhaps starting later in the day.

At Crear there is a huge amount of flexibility so your intended timings may change on the actual day depending on circumstances.

Regarding timings of your day, please think how far your guests will have travelled. You want your guests to have the best possible time without being completely exhausted. How many will be travelling on the day before your wedding post a long week of work & how many on the day itself? An extra half hour can make a big difference. Most guests will not want to have to change clothes in a hedge & the last meal being a plastic sandwich en route.

Guests at the best weddings should leave at the point they want to party just a little bit longer!

Your Crear West Coast Motors Wedding Bus

The entire team at West Coast Motors go over & above to ensure your guests have a safe journey to & from your wedding. If you wish to vary our suggested timings of your day, please ensure you discuss this directly with the Operations Manager. The bus drivers have to adhere to strict regulations regarding the hours on a shift.

We always suggest that you tell your guests to be ready ten minutes before the bus is due to collect them. No one wants to have to wait around for stragglers!

A clay pigeon shoot or a football match is a great way to introduce friends with competing teams

The morning of your Crear Wedding

No matter where your wedding ceremony is held, most brides want to enjoy getting ready in relative peace.

Unless the groom's grooming routine is a lengthy process, we suggest organising an activity to get everyone else out & about.

Clay pigeon shoot on the beach or at the Tarbert gun club is a great way to introduce your friends with teams competing. Prize giving can become part of the speeches later in the day.

Highly recommended for everyones nerves, is having your speeches before your meal

Cake cutting & Speeches

If someone has kindly baked you a wedding cake, stop to cut it in front of all your guests when you are piped into your wedding breakfast. Thanks to the cake maker can then also be given in the following speeches. We suggest your speeches are at the beginning (highly recommended if anyone is nervous!) or the end of the meal.

While its a nice idea to have a speech between courses, it will drag out the meal as clearly the Crear team have to have cleared the tables before everyone begins & the chefs are not happy if the speeches run on & ruin your meal. Also if you have booked a great band, you want to ensure that nothing encroaches on the evening entertainment.
