Disabled Access Wedding Venue
While we'd love to be able to offer full access for all at both Crear House and Caisealrag Cottage, given the age of the buildings and the immediate surroundings, it is unfortunately not realistic.
Ramp Access To Crear House
A ramp at the rear of Crear House allows users of wheelchairs access directly into the studio via the kitchen, avoiding the changes in levels and external and internal steps.
There is a bathroom on the same level as the studio.
Disabled Parking
If a guest using a wheelchair using the ramp at the back of the house to enter directly from a vehicle, we'd request that you then park to allow a clear access for the Crear Kitchen staff and the bus from West Coast Motors.
You're welcome to park close to the other entrance doors into Crear if there are any walking restrictions.
Bathroom Facilities
A shower room with toilet is on the same level as the Crear Studio and can be accessed by a wheelchair user.
Crear does not have a dedicated disabled toilet.
Beach Access
A farm track allows vehicle access to the beach.
Scottish Beach Weddings
There may be stones to cross to reach the sand depending on the tides.
Access To Caisealrag Cottage
The front door to Caisealrag Cottage has no steps however is accessed along a gravelled path.
The back entrance is on the same level before two steps take you into the main living space.
The entrance to the annex is at ground level with no steps.
