Singing in the rain proving nothing can dampen a wedding day! Roisin and Richard eloped to Crear House from County Cork, Ireland along with their very precious bump! The most gorgeous ceremony in the original Crear House lit by flickering candles and fairy lights overhead. Mhairi's Wedding played on the pipes by special request.
Blooming Wild Crear Flowers of thistles, eucalyptus and ferms bouquet were just so gorgeous and complemented Roisin's beautiful dress from ASOS maternity.

We met almost 15 years ago, as teenagers at a rowing Regatta. We choose Crear as we had often joked about eloping to Scotland.

We loved the thought of getting married without all the fuss and attention, with just the two of us. Water has always held an important significance in our lives from the rivers where we had our first encounters to the many different beaches where we have lived and spent so much time together. Crear being close to the sea looking across at the island we call home seemed fitting for us to get married.

A little bit of luxury in the wild. The whole day was so special, from waking up with just the two us preparing for the commitment we were about to make together, to braving the wild beach in the pouring rain (we laughed so much), to finally returning back to Crear House to a cosy fire, a home cooked meal and the excitement of the day in the forefront of our memories. We were never overly bothered about getting married, but the process of going to Crear with one another (and bump) felt like the perfect way to mark our relationship and our little family at this very special time in our lives.

After Crear we spent a few days in a beautiful hotel in Edinburgh which we really enjoyed. As our baby is due in a couple of months we will wait for them to join us on the outside for a holiday.
