Alan Boslem our superstar chef who heads up the talented team at Crear Kitchen, has 25 years experience catering in top hotels and establishments across the UK.

Alan started his apprenticeship at the five star Gleneagles Hotel & left as Senior Sous-Chef, with over 100 chefs reporting to him.

Alan has also been Executive Chef for the biggest catering company in the world, the Compass Group.

Alan's signature menu has been carefully balanced to give a gourmet journey of flavours and textures, perfectly balanced to compliment, however you are also welcome to swap a canapé or dessert to make it perfect for you.

A TASTING MENU OF FIVE OR SIX COURSES WITH CANAPES

Alan's Signature Menu perfectly paired with organic and biodynamic wines is included in your Small Gigha Gourmet Wedding package. With a selection of five canapés served with chilled Champagne or Prosecco.

For Small Weddings up to thirty guests, six courses are served. For over thirty, your guests will enjoy five courses plus a selection of five canapés and an evening buffet of Alan's award winning pork and spinach with vegan ricotta warm sausage rolls.

CHOOSING YOUR WEDDING MENU

When choosing your wedding menu, we suggest your decision is based on what YOU would most enjoy.

Unless you are selecting from the vegetarian or gluten free menus for all your guests, Crear Kitchen will make a vegetarian or gluten free version of your menu choice for those individual guests who require it.

Vegan and vegetarian, Halal, gluten and dairy free are all easily catered for, along with favourite requests from your younger guests.

SPOILT FOR CHOICE!

While its a wonderful idea to offer your guests a choice menu, it is not something that is realistic at Crear. However we can offer an alternative drop - where you would choose two options and they are served alternatively around the table - for a supplement per course.

You also have the option to go for a trio of desserts. 

Alternative drop works well if your guests are comfortable about sharing their plates - if a couple are next to each other for example - or feel able to swap with their neighbours.

It's a popular optoin in Australia however its not always suitable for the reserved Brits!

MENUS FOR CHILDREN AGED 12 YEARS & UNDER

You tell us what your younger guests idea of gourmet is - Macaroni cheese, pizza, chicken nuggets - finished off with an ice-cream sundae!

Alternatively, a half portion of the adult menu is charged at half the price of the final menu you chose. Teenagers are counted as adults.

The Kitchen cannot serve your younger guests at the same time as the main service. You may decide that they all eat together around the living room table during your drinks reception.

CANAPES

We suggest you select one meat, one fish and two vegetarian canapés - this will allow six to seven per person although some guests have been known to eat many more! Add on an extra one if you're having a longer drinks reception or you know you're guests have travelled on the day.

Menu cost per person for three, four or five courses includes a selection of four canapés.

A selection of five canapés are included in Alan's Signature Menu.

We always suggest adding on an extra canapé to treat your guests and ensure any who may have missed lunch, are not hungry at anytime.

Select your starter and add on an intermediate if you're going for more than three courses. Just think about balancing the flavours to create your perfect feast!

Alan is one of the very few talented chefs working to create these not only delicious but beautiful statement pieces. Delicately blown sugar like glass, with sorbet piped in at the final moment!

MAINS

Unless you are selecting from the vegetarian or gluten free menus for all your guests, Crear Kitchen will make a vegetarian or gluten free version of your menu choice for those individual guests who require it.

ALLERGENS
Alan and his talented team at Crear Kitchen would be delighted to cater for the dietary requirements of all your guests including Halal with advance notice.

To accommodate all your guests during your drinks reception,  select one meat, one fish & two vegetarian canapés, which allows for six to seven per person.

Separate platters will be made for those guests with allergens.

CHEESE TOWERS

We love cheese! Our cheese towers are the perfect ending to Alan's amazing wedding meal. Served with crackers and chutneys, what's not eaten at your wedding will be enjoyed the following day! 

Our cheese is sourced from Clarks who have the largest selection of cheeses available for our local market in Scotland. They stock over 140 separate Scottish cheeses (more than any other wholesaler) and a further 100 cheese from the rest of the UK and Ireland.
