HOW DO WE SELECT OUR MENU TAKING OUR GUESTS REQUESTS INTO ACCOUNT?
When choosing your wedding menu, we suggest your decision is based on what you would most enjoy. Unless you are selecting from the vegetarian or gluten free menus for all your guests, Crear Kitchen will make a vegetarian or gluten free version of your menu choice for those individual guests who require it.

You have the option to add an extra canapé , choose a trio of desserts, enjoy an alternative drop , refreshers and WOW your guests with Alan's amazing blown sugar refresher lemon!
HOW DO WE SELECT OUR CANAPES?
We suggest you select one meat, one fish and two vegetarian canapés - this will allow six to seven per person although some guests have been known to eat many more!
Add on an extra one if you're having a longer drinks reception or you know you're guests have travelled on the day.
Five canapés are served with Alan's signature menus. Separate platters will be made for those guests with allergens.
CAN WE OFFER OUR GUESTS A CHOICE OF TWO MENUS ON THE DAY?
While this is a wonderful idea, it is not realistic unless your happy to pay double for your menu choices.
The kitchen would prepare to allow every guest to have their choice so 50% would go to waste.
CAN WE OFFER GUESTS A CHOICE OF TWO MENUS IN ADVANCE?
You're welcome to offer your guests a choice of two options in advance however it't subject to a supplement charge per course.
We would suggest that you make individual menus for each and every guest as many will not remember what they selected a month or so ago!
WHAT IS AN ALTERNATE DROP?
The beauty of alternate drop which is basically two menu choices served alternatively is your guests can swap, share, steal or savour the dish of their choice. With a set menu, with only one option served, you miss all of this excitement.
We'd be delighed to serve an alternative drop with a supplement per course.
DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN'S MENUS?
We offers children's meals for those aged 12 and under. Just let us know their favourite food.
Half portions of the adults meal are also available for children aged 12 and under. What isn't enjoyed by the children, is always enjoyed by someone else!
Teenagers are counted as adults.
CAN WE SELECT A COURSE FROM THE SIGNATURE MENU?
Alan's Signature Menu stands alone and are not offered on the Crear Kitchen selector menus.
If you have chosen Alan's Signature Menu, you may swap a course for another from the a la carte menus.
CAN YOU SERVE OUR WEDDING CAKE ALONG WITH OUR EVENING BUFFET?
A slice of cake along with Alan's award winning sausage rolls, a tower of cheese and perhaps an ice-cream is the perfect pick me up for your evening buffet.
Some cakes are delicate and once you've cut it in front of your guests, we'll slice it up to serve for your evening buffet.
Anything remaining will be wrapped in cling film for you to enjoy the following day.
WHAT SHOULD WE PRINT FOR TABLE MENUS?
If you're creating printed menus for the tables, please only include your selection.
Please omit any additional options for those who require specific dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan.
CAN YOU CATER FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS STAYING LOCALLY AT OTHER SELF CATERING HOUSES?
We offer relaxed suppers and three course fine dining self serve meals that your guests are welcome to preorder and collect from Crear.
CAN YOU SERVE SUPPLIER MEALS?
The contract with your outside suppliers is with you directly.
If they require a meal, as per their contract, please advise and they will be served the main course of your Wedding Breakfast.
Please note they will be served after your guests. Please also include them in your final numbers for your evening buffet if appropriate.
Please remember to include your band or any other entertainers and any evening guests in your final numbers.
WHEN DO WE DECIDE OUR MENUS?
Six weeks prior to arrival, you complete would send us your final menu choice via an on line link and any additional catering required. Your final statement must be paid in full four weeks prior to arrival. At this point in time your numbers can only increase. One week prior to arrival you can add on any additional guests.
