Crear is a working sheep farm and during your stay you can watch the skill of both shepherds and dogs in the surrounding fields. The South Knapdale sheep dog trials are hosted at Crear every summer on a Sunday. If your stay at Crear coincides with the trials, we would like to reassure you that they will not interfere with your privacy at Crear. As it is very much part of rural life in Scotland and a big event in the local calendar with the Rural Women's Institute providing teas, fantastic home baked cakes and a BBQ, we hope it is a day that all your guests will enjoy.
